We about to embark on our expansion into North America to provide support for our growing customer base utilizing Sage X3 and X3 CloudDocs. As the first Implementation Consultant in this new venture, you’ll play a crucial role in establishing our presence in the region.  You’ll be a key member of our UK based Consultancy team and be fully onboarded with a one-to-two-week induction at our UK office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pivotal moment in our company’s growth, with the potential for further career development as we expand.

The core purpose of the Consultant will be to provide support and consultancy services to Mysoft customers as it expands its operations into North America.  As a brand-new set up, the job holder will initially focus on the resolution of customer issues by providing assistance, advice and solutions for Sage X3 software and Mysoft propriety plug-ins.   As the business grows, the primary focus will shift to the delivery of consultancy services to the NA customer base.

Key Areas of Activity

  • Take a lead in the planning, oversight and support of new Sage X3 implementations ensuring a seamless integration within agreed timelines.
  • Oversee the customisation and configuration of Sage X3 systems, working closely with technical teams.
  • Work with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements ensuring a comprehensive understanding of organisational needs.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
  • Deliver Sage X3 implementation workshops.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration details, end user guides, and best practice.
  • Design, develop and implement advanced Crystal reports and dashboards, optimising configurations to enhance data accuracy, presentation and accessibility.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy to ensure the accurate and secure transfer of data from the legacy systems to Sage X3 including data mapping, cleansing and validation activities.
  • Provide on-going support to end-user’s post-implementation, addressing issues and optimising system performance; and conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhancement as needed.
  • Log, resolve and document support tickets, ensuring effective call list management and prioritisation, keeping the customer updated and assured with call progress.

About You

  • Sound technical and functional knowledge of Sage X3 ERP software is essential.
  • Experience of the full Sage X3 implementation lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of business processes in the following business sectors; distribution (essential) and manufacturing (advantageous) and finance (advantageous).
  • Knowledge and experience of Windows server and SQL advantageous.
  • Proficient in Crystal report writing.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and all key stakeholders.

The core purpose of this role will be to facilitate the resolution of customer issues by providing assistance, advice and solutions for our Sage X3 ERP software and Mysoft propriety plug-ins.   The Support Analyst will own the full incident lifecycle, proactively managing customer incidents to bring resolution within expectations and SLAs and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Areas of Activity

  • Understand the customer issue and the business impact, ensuring the call is given the correct priority.
  • Effective call list management; keeping on top of calls, clearing quick wins, identification of urgent issues and continuous reprioritisation as new issues arise.
  • Record accurate, detailed information and track support calls and queries from creation to completion.
  • Achieve the quickest possible resolution for all customer issues, keeping the customer updated and assured with call progress.
  • Effectively own calls from the time logged, taking responsibility for liaison with colleagues, third parties and the customer when multiple inputs are required.
  • Clearly document the cause and solution to any issue to assist others should a similar issue arise.
  • Recognise where customers log repeat issues that have a broader impact and work with the team to find a permanent solution.
  • Work with colleagues to resolve challenging and varied queries.
  • Assist with direct user support for Microsoft desktops/laptops, user access to the corporate network, and applications both on the network and through the VPN remote access.
  • Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of internal Windows issues.
  • To identify and progress commercial opportunities with discretion.
  • Ensure the service provided to Mysoft customers develops an environment of advocacy whereby customers are retained, increase business and recommend Mysoft

About You

  • In-depth knowledge of software testing and or trouble shooting.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Sage X3 ERP software is essential.
  • Knowledge of business processes in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
  • Knowledge and experience of Windows server and SQL.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, exceptional professional to spearhead the growth of new business sales for Sage X3, Sage’s flagship ERP product, in a specialist ERP Value Added Reseller.

Key Areas of Activity

  • Effectively manage the complete sales cycle; from initial contact to contracting, successfully using “key dates” (proposal dates, decision dates and live dates) agreed with the prospect to control the sales process and ensure timely sales delivery.
  • Accurately forecast and maintain reporting information on all sales activity.
  • Produce compelling proposals and presentations and conduct impactful demonstrations that showcase the value of Sage X3 and Mysoft offerings to prospective customers. Communicating the “value proposition” of the overall solution is key.
  • Follow up sales leads in a timely manner, maintain a prospecting database and pipeline of potential customers and report on activity levels as well as sales.
  • Actively closing revenue and profit generating business.
  • Understanding the commercial implications of sales activity and pricing. Able to negotiate prices, contracts, and terms for potential customers.
  • Undertake professional and detailed needs analysis of prospective customers; understanding both the strategic and operational requirements of mid-market businesses.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Sage X3 and other Mysoft offerings, turning leads into qualified prospects, prioritising time and effort appropriately, nurturing them from initial enquiry to close.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent knowledge of the ERP market, Mysoft solutions & services offerings in order to create solutions that fits our customer’s needs and it’s positioning against our competitors.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends and competitor activities and how this could impact on a competitive pitch.
  • Research potential customers, and their target markets, in order to understand their business, pain points, growth/contraction goals, as well as their current provider to produce a personalised pitch.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help create and execute focussed campaigns, aligning sales activity to support marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts.
  • Prepare professional documents that support the sales handover process, ensuring a seamless transition to Consultancy and professional delivery for the customer.
  • Assist with the running of sales conferences for Mysoft customers as required.

Apprentice Project Support Officer – Level 6 Degree

We now have a fantastic career opportunity to join our Project Management team as an apprentice Project Support Officer where you will provide essential support for our Project Managers, executing operational and administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day business operations.  Reporting to the Project Delivery Director, the successful job holder will join a small and super friendly team of five, initially as the Project Support Officer, progressing to Project Manager after an initial 12-month period, subject to satisfactory performance.

This opportunity is being offered as a degree apprenticeship with Arden University.  As part of their APM accredited BSc (Hons) Project Management programme, you’ll learn the tools and techniques of the profession via a blended virtual learning approach including flexible self-guided learning, scheduled virtual teaching sessions, regular virtual 1-2-1 coaching and quarterly virtual progress reviews, at no cost to you!

This role may suit someone who has recently completed their A Levels (or equivalent), a university graduate, or, maybe someone who is looking for a career change – what is vital is a genuine desire to start and progress your career in project management.

 

Key Areas of Activity 

  • Record and draft minutes of all team meetings and submit for approval prior to distribution and filing.
  • Set-up and maintain the team Trello boards with actions and new members generated from team meetings.
  • Updating the Mysoft Activity Planner (MAP) on a daily basis, excluding holidays, busy days, buffer, forecasts, and BSR or TCR related for the Development team.
  • Maintenance of the Outlook and MAP Scheduler e.g., Office/Busy, Buffer TBCs on a rolling four-week view each Friday, notifying PM/Manager of any clashes and resolution with a full monthly reconciliation.
  • Preparation of template Statement of Works (SOW) for the Consultants, ensuring content is relevant, produced in a timely manner (weekly) and the status is set on the project/task raised.
  • Filing of completed SOWs, ensuring any actions flagged are entered onto the project Trello board, the PMs are notified, the project status is updated and the Consultant and customers are chased for completion.
  • Ensuring that the Project Management in-box is cleared and filed at the end of each working day, and all actions have been addressed.
  • Conduct Open Order reviews, updating status, adding commentary and fulfilment dates.
  • Production and distribution of weekly Billing reports, TBC Placeholder report, MAP Forecast report and the monthly RAG report.
  • Production and distribution of Timesheet Reporting prior each month and prior to month end.
  • Production of the Timesheet reporting each week liaising with the PMs/Line Manager to create any missing tasks that are preventing completion.
  • Production of the Forecast report and chase-up of PMs/Line Manager to firm forecast or plan forecasts for the current month.
  • Set up and maintain the Customer folders on the M: ensuring customer folders and sub folder framework.

 

Eligibility

It is essential that you have two A level passes (or equivalent) at grade A* to C/9-4, plus a minimum of three GCSE passes at A* to C or 9 to 4 including *English and Maths.  If you don’t have English and Maths, it is a condition of the degree programme that you undertake the Functional Skills Level 2 training, in addition to the Project Management degree programme.

 

About you

From a skills and experience perspective, we’re looking for…

  • Competent in the use of MS Office products at intermediate level in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience in using MS Visio or a similar product would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and grammatical skills i.e., minute taking, reporting writing, letter writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to listen, show empathy and collaborate clearly and concisely with multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Good organisation and time management skills, able to plan and prioritise effort and activities effectively to meet delivery timelines.
