The new interface will pull data from their three cash and carry sites into Sage ERP X3.
East End Foods run three cash and carry sites along with their manufacturing and distribution warehouse. Sage ERP X3 was initially chosen as East End Foods wanted a system that could unify the sharing of information across the business, covering manufacturing, distribution and accounts. During scoping for X3, it soon became apparent that it would be hugely beneficial if the data produced by the cash and carry warehouses could also be viewed and analysed in X3.
This is where the Mysoft development team begin working their magic! By interfacing with East End Foods current cash and carry software EPOS sales are pulled into X3 and all purchase orders are made visible. This will allow East End Foods to have full visibility of products and purchasing for all of their cash and carry sites. It will also enable them to produce reports directly from X3, including the data from the cash and carry sites along with the manufacturing side of the business.
Brian Martin, Software Development Manager at Mysoft comments, “this is a really interesting interface to work on as it will enable East End Foods to have visibility of all areas of sales and purchasing in their business. This enables them to produce accurate business reports that will provide invaluable business insights moving forward.”
