We are proud to be sponsoring the 4th day of Sage’s Hadrian's Wall walking challenge.
The tremendous 84 mile walk is all in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and is being undertaken by Sage’s very own Stephen Clarke, Nigel Platt and Laurie Stanwick. To donate to the just giving page please follow the link below, any donations will count for double as Sage have kindly offered to match all donations:
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust was chosen as Nigel’s daughter is a sufferer of the disease. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting, inherited condition caused by a faulty gene that controls the movement of salt and water in and out of cells. There is currently no cure for CF. Each week 5 babies are born with CF and 2 will die. For many people with CF, a double lung transplant becomes the only option. To read more about Nigel’s story please follow the just giving link above.
With Stephen and Laurie’s support the Sage team have already managed to raise an incredible £6,000 (and counting!) for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The five days of the walk have been broken down as follows:
Day 1- Bowness to Carlisle (14 miles)
Day 2- Carlisle to Gilsland (18.5 miles)
Day 3- Gilsland to Carrow (15 miles)
Day 4- Carraw to Heddon on the Wall (20 miles). The longest walk of the five days and sponsored by Mysoft!
Day 5- Heddon on the Wall to Wallsend (14 miles)
Good luck to all three for undertaking this challenge and keep those legs pumping! The whole of the Mysoft team are routing for you.
