It’s been a busy festive period with lots of socializing, eating and festive cheer at the Mysoft office.
As well as all the fun and good spirit we like to, every year, ensure we are giving back to various charitable causes. This December at Mysoft we have taken part in Christmas Jumper Day and our local food bank collection, read on for the full story.
Hart Food Bank
It was fantastic to see such an amazing collection of food and toiletries donated by our team to those less fortunate than us earlier in December. It has become an annual tradition during the festive season at Mysoft to collect items for the local food bank, which to our office in Fleet is the Hart Food Bank. Hart Food Bank is part of The Trussell Trust who run a nationwide network of food banks to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The range of items collected will provide much needed sustenance and relief for those in need in our local community and help to ensure that no one goes hungry this Christmas.
Christmas Jumper Day
Our team all jumped at the chance to partake in national Christmas Jumper Day! Festive knits of a wide variety were adorned, including a Christmas tree dress, a light up reindeer and flashing penguins. Amy, part of our Marketing team, took the Christmas jumper to the next level with her blow up Santa outfit which caused a lot of hilarity amongst the whole team!
This was all, of course, for another very worthy cause. Christmas Jumper Day is all in aid of Save the Children who provide support and welfare for children around the world. The funds raised go towards ensuring children grow up in a healthy and safe environment with access to clean water and an education.
Through their donations for wearing their jumpers and festive themed games throughout the day the Mysoft team raised a brilliant £119.44. There was a festive sweepstake as well as a very well received game of “Pin the Tie on the Director”. The sweepstake was won by Sue and Pin the Tie by Peter.
It was great to see the whole team involved in our charitable efforts and spread a bit of festive cheer for those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We hope that everyone has a relaxing and rejuvenating festive break, a very Happy New Year and we look forward to working together in 2020!
