Expanding Integration Capabilities
Purchasing APIs Continue to Grow
Release 1 introduces several new GraphQL capabilities that further expand Sage X3’s integration framework.
Purchase Price Lists are now available through query operations, while Request for Quotes (RFQs) support both queries and mutations, allowing organisations to retrieve, create and update RFQ data through modern APIs. Purchase Shipment mutations also introduce shipment creation and tracking through GraphQL, helping businesses automate inbound logistics more effectively.
Supplier BP Invoices can now be created, modified and deleted using GraphQL, providing greater flexibility when integrating Sage X3 with external purchasing or finance applications.
These additions continue Sage’s move towards API-first integration, reducing reliance on custom development while making it easier to connect Sage X3 with wider business systems.
Manufacturing API Completion
Manufacturing receives one of the largest API investments within this release.
Sage has completed the Manufacturing API framework by introducing the remaining nodes and properties required to support full create, read, update and delete operations. Bills of Material have been refactored for greater consistency, material tracking APIs have been improved and obsolete scheduling components removed.
These enhancements also prepare the platform for future Mobile Automation, Shop Floor Control and Web Scheduling capabilities, providing manufacturers with a stronger foundation for connected production environments.
Fixed Assets, Projects and Sales
The release also extends GraphQL coverage across other core business areas.
New mutation support has been introduced for Fixed Asset buildings and locations, while Project Management now supports Project, Budget and Time Entry mutations. Sales Invoice mutations, Purchase Orders and Purchase Returns are also available through GraphQL, giving organisations significantly broader integration options across finance and operations.
In addition, GraphQL queries have been enhanced with additional properties required by Sage Copilot, while performance improvements across Sales, Purchasing and Project Management help deliver faster responses for connected applications.
Automated Testing
Faster, Smarter Testing with ATP 5.0
Improved File Validation
Sage X3 Automated Test Platform 5.0 introduces several enhancements designed to simplify automated testing and improve quality assurance.
Test suites can now parse and validate CSV and TXT files, compare generated outputs against expected results and automatically identify differences. Expected files, templates and actual outputs can all be attached to Allure Reports, making troubleshooting significantly easier during automated testing.
For organisations developing bespoke Sage X3 solutions, this provides greater confidence that integrations and custom developments continue to perform as expected.
Framework Improvements
Version 5.0 also delivers a number of framework enhancements that improve productivity for developers and testing teams.
GraphQL step definitions now support Monaco Editor, variables and stored values, while new automation steps have been added for SQL Designer. Date calculations have been expanded to simplify testing of time-sensitive scenarios, and the platform has been upgraded to Node.js 24 and WebdriverIO 9 to improve performance, browser communication and overall reliability.

Better Warehouse Efficiency
Mobile Automation Continues to Evolve
Release 1 delivers several practical improvements for organisations using Sage X3 Mobile Automation.
A new ADC01 function profile groups together the standard functions required by warehouse users, simplifying user administration and deployment.
Purchase Orders can now be received simply by entering a shipment container number, while detailed stock allocations can be displayed directly within pick ticket transactions, giving warehouse operators greater visibility during order fulfilment.
Shipment tracking has also been enhanced through import support, allowing organisations to load shipment tracking information using the standard SHIP import template.
Easier Customisation and Warehouse Operations
Several Mobile Automation transactions have been refactored to support easier customisation using Sage X3 Builder, including Stock Change by Identifier.
Support has also been introduced for ZPL printers within Mobile Automation, allowing businesses to integrate warehouse label printing more effectively into operational workflows.
Additional improvements around subcontracting receipts now allow manual lot selection when required, giving organisations greater control over inventory traceability and stock movements.

Users can now review supplier invoices before documents are created within Sage X3, providing an additional validation step before processing.
Invoice resend capabilities have also been introduced, allowing failed documents to be corrected and retransmitted directly from the outbound dashboard. Errors are clearly identified, enabling finance teams to resolve issues quickly without restarting the entire submission process.
Expanded Compliance Features
This release also introduces a wide range of improvements supporting electronic invoicing across multiple legislations.
Enhancements include improved GLN management, support for electronic addresses, payment terms, invoice references, line-level discounts, outbound invoice selection, exemption codes and attachment handling.
Businesses can now onboard directly to either the Sage Approved Platform or Test Platform, while payment status synchronisation enables customer payment updates to be shared automatically across connected platforms.
