Community

Community & Giving Back.

We believe in giving back to the communities we’re part of. Whether through volunteering, fundraising or hands-on support, we back the causes that matter most to our people. By supporting local charities, community groups and initiatives, we aim to make a positive impact beyond the workplace and help strengthen the communities around us.

The Appeals

Everything we have backed so far.

No corporate charity of the year. Colleagues put forward a cause they have a connection to, and the business gets behind it.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Through donations, Mysoft raised £250 at our Coffee Morning. The event brought colleagues together for a lovely social catch-up, plenty of conversation and, most importantly, a fair bit of cake while supporting a great cause.

Camp Mohawk Christmas Raffle

Through our Christmas raffle, held at the Mysoft Christmas Party, we raised an incredible £1,540 for Camp Mohawk. The evening brought colleagues together for festive celebrations, plenty of prizes and a great cause at the heart of it all.

The RGS Guildford Bursary Programme

In October 2025, Mysoft made a significant donation to RGS Guildford’s Giving Day in support of its Bursary Programme. Given on the company’s behalf by CEO Chris Schafer, the donation helps talented students whose families couldn’t otherwise afford the fees.

Community

Three rules we keep to.

1

The team chooses the cause.

Anyone can nominate a cause. We back things people are already connected to: a school, a group they volunteer with, a charity that helped their family.

2

The business gets behind it

Once Mysoft has done its due diligence, it adds to what colleagues have raised. Everyone also gets a paid volunteering day each year to support the cause they feel connected to.

3

We write up what actually happened

Each appeal gets its own page: who it was for, what the team did, and where it ended up. Kept short, kept honest.
