On 12th March at Vivat Bacchus, London Bridge, we brought together finance leaders, Sage colleagues, and live customers for an exclusive afternoon of insight, conversation, and connection at The Intacct Table. Designed as a peer-led experience, the event focused on a simple but powerful question: how can finance teams unlock even more value from Sage Intacct after go-live?
Setting The Scene
The afternoon began with a relaxed champagne reception, allowing attendees to connect in an informal setting and talk about the businesses and their experience within them.
Jamie Watts, Managing Director at Mysoft, opened the session by reinforcing that projects don’t end at implementation — they’re built on ongoing partnership, continuous improvement, and long-term value.

Practical Innovation That Matters
Sunil Kapur and Martin Brown from Sage shared the latest Sage Intacct developments, focusing on practical innovation that makes a real difference to finance teams.
The session included a demonstration of the Interactive Custom Report Writer, highlighting how organisations can build more flexible reports and gain clearer insights from their data.

Fireside Chat: A Real Customer Perspective
A highlight of the afternoon was our fireside chat with Meg Miller from Ambassadeurs Group, who shared an honest view of their Sage Intacct journey. Meg explained that the decision to move to Intacct was driven by trust, both in Sage as a platform and Mysoft as a partner, alongside strong alignment with their existing systems and competitive pricing.
Reflecting on implementation, the project was delivered on time with effective training and strong system knowledge from the team. Like many early adopters, there were some early challenges around clarity and scope, reinforcing the importance of clear communication and structure.
Her key advice: ensure you have a dedicated internal team and allow time to fully understand new concepts, even when the system feels familiar. Since go-live, Intacct has delivered usability improvements, reporting flexibility, and integration, while continuing to evolve over time.

Conversations That Matter
The afternoon closed with a guided wine tasting, where a wine expert led attendees through a comprehensive South African selection, including red, white, and dessert wines. The tasting was complemented by cheese boards, fresh bread, olives, and snacks, and flowed naturally into a productive networking session, creating space for open conversation between peers, Sage experts, and the Mysoft team.
It was an opportunity to share experiences, explore challenges, and continue the discussions sparked throughout the day.
The Intacct Table was more than just an event; it was a collaborative space for sharing ideas, experiences, and practical insight.
The key takeaway? Go-live isn’t the end of the journey — it’s where the real value begins.
