Through our Christmas raffle, held at the Mysoft Christmas Party, we raised an incredible £1,540 for Camp Mohawk. The evening brought colleagues together for festive celebrations, plenty of prizes and a great cause at the heart of it all.

Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre set in five acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside, just outside Wargrave. Throughout the year, the centre provides a wide range of activities, workshops and natural space for children with special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.
Their vision is simple but profound: that every child, regardless of their disability, should have the opportunity to realise their full potential as a valued individual — welcomed, accepted and supported without prejudice or judgement.
From sensory activities and stimulating workshops to open outdoor space where families can relax and connect, Camp Mohawk gives children experiences that build confidence, develop social skills and create moments of real joy. For many families, it is far more than a day centre. It is a lifeline.
Each year, our Christmas Party is an opportunity not just to celebrate as a team, but to give back to the communities around us. Choosing the right charity matters to us — we want to support organisations making a genuine difference to real people’s lives in the local area.
This year, Beatrice, our support manager her at Mysoft, put Camp Mohawk forward as our chosen charity. From the moment the team heard about what Camp Mohawk does and who it serves, it was clear this was exactly the kind of cause we wanted to get behind — a place where children with special needs can feel genuinely welcomed, build confidence and experience things that every young person deserves.
"It was lovely to see the Scouts so keen to help with the fundraising themselves. They spent time planning and recording the video to explain why we needed new tents, then came up with the idea of selling sweets. They spent two hours counting, weighing and packing the bags, and were excited to be doing something that would support the fundraising."
The raffle took place at the Mysoft Christmas Party, bringing colleagues together for an evening of celebration, festivities and prize draws. Employees threw themselves into the spirit of it, purchasing 154 strips of raffle tickets and raising £770 between them across the night.
True to Mysoft’s commitment to the causes its people care about, the business matched every pound raised — doubling the total to £1,540 for Camp Mohawk.
For Camp Mohawk, donations like this directly support the activities, facilities and specialist staff that make the centre what it is. Every pound raised helps ensure more children with special needs can access the experiences, care and community that Camp Mohawk offers throughout the year.
For us, taking part in this fundraiser was a reminder of what a team can achieve when it comes together around something that matters. We are proud to have supported Camp Mohawk and the incredible work they do for children and families across Berkshire.
