A rebrand can easily be seen as a new logo, new colours and a refreshed website. For Mysoft, the changes go much further.
In conversation with Alexx Knight, Head of UKI Partner Marketing at Sage, Mysoft Marketing Manager Arshia Deljavan Farshi discusses why the business has taken a fresh look at its marketing, how the way businesses research ERP has changed and why the new Mysoft is being built around where our customers are heading next.
A Changing Market
Why now was the right time for change.
Mysoft has changed considerably since our previous website was launched in 2021, and so has the market around us.
AI has developed rapidly, buyer behaviour has evolved and new legislation and digital requirements are changing the priorities facing businesses. At the same time, Mysoft has continued to grow across both Sage X3 and Sage Intacct.
Over time, new content, campaigns and messaging had naturally been added to reflect those changes. But there comes a point where continuing to add to what already exists is no longer the right approach.
Instead, we took the opportunity to look at everything together: how we communicate, how customers research solutions and whether our website and content truly represent the Mysoft of today.
The result is much more than a visual refresh.
The New Mysoft
Rebuilding the experience from the ground up.
At the heart of the rebrand is a completely new Mysoft website, built in-house from the ground up.
Alongside the new design, we have revisited our messaging, content and the way we communicate the value of Sage X3 and Sage Intacct.
That includes new webpages, brochures, whitepapers and resources designed around the questions businesses are actually asking during their buying journey.
The aim isn’t simply to tell businesses what our solutions can do. It is to give prospective customers the information they need to understand their options, explore whether a solution is right for them and make more informed decisions before they even speak to us.
Industry Focus
Doing our industries justice.
Another important part of the new approach is a greater focus on the industries and micro-verticals we support.
Different organisations face very different challenges, and their finance and operational requirements can vary significantly.
For Sage Intacct, this includes areas such as professional services, software and hospitality. Across Sage X3, Mysoft continues to build on more than two decades of experience supporting organisations across manufacturing, distribution, food and beverage, chemicals and other complex industries.
Rather than approaching every organisation with the same message, our content is becoming increasingly focused on the challenges, requirements and opportunities within individual sectors.
That means helping finance and operational decision-makers understand not just what technology is available, but how it can support the organisation they are trying to become.
Looking Forward
A solution for the organisation you're becoming.
ERP is a long-term decision.
The system a business chooses today could remain at the heart of its operations for a decade or considerably longer. By the time implementation is complete and the organisation begins seeing the full return from that investment, its requirements may already have evolved.
That is why focusing solely on what a business needs today can be limiting.
Our approach is increasingly about looking forward: understanding where an organisation wants to go, what its future requirements could look like and whether the technology being considered provides the right foundations to support that journey.
It’s about finding a solution for the organisation you’re becoming, not simply the organisation you are today.
A Better Buying Journey
Helping businesses make informed decisions.
One of the biggest changes to the new Mysoft website is the introduction of more interactive tools designed to help businesses understand their requirements before entering a formal buying process.
This includes AI-readiness assessments, ROI calculators and solution selectors that help organisations explore where they currently stand and what they may need next.
This is particularly important as technologies such as agentic AI become more widely discussed.
The most advanced technology isn’t automatically the right answer for every organisation. Without the right processes, data and foundations in place, introducing new technology too early can create more problems than it solves.
The aim is therefore to help businesses understand whether they are ready, where gaps may exist and what foundations need to be established first.
The same applies when choosing between solutions.
Two organisations operating in the same industry can have very different requirements. Sage Intacct may be the right fit for one, while the functionality within Sage X3 may make it the better choice for another.
Understanding those differences before going to market can make the ERP buying journey significantly more valuable.
The Bigger Picture
Building around the customer, not just the technology.
The rebrand represents where Mysoft is today, but more importantly, where we want to take the experience next.
Our goal is to give businesses more useful information earlier in their journey, helping them understand their requirements, challenge their assumptions and make informed decisions about the technology that will support their future.
For business and finance leaders, that creates an important takeaway: don’t start an ERP or AI conversation by asking what technology you can buy. Start by understanding where your organisation is going and whether you have the foundations to get there.
Technology should support the organisation you are building, not simply solve the problems you have today.
