Mysoft has developed a Carrier Interface plugin for Sage X3, replacing the need to dual-key shipment information. Most major carriers provide a workstation where warehouse staff re-key the shipment data to generate a shipping label including the carrier tracking number. The Mysoft plugin enables customers to create import and export templates for each carrier — a template being the definition of a flat interface file, either exported to generate the labels, or imported to update the tracking number on the shipment.

From Sage X3 shipment to carrier label, without the re-keying.

Warehouse operations spend valuable business time re-keying shipment information to process orders with external carrier services. This re-keying is both inefficient and introduces an opportunity for data-entry errors. Mysoft’s Carrier Interface removes the need for warehouse staff to manually copy basic shipping information from their Sage X3 solution into the carrier system.

Carrier Templates

Set up a template configured to the carrier a business is using — for example, DPD. The flexible template set up is essential, as each carrier requires a different format of shipping information.

Multiple Carriers

Particularly useful for businesses using more than one carrier service — create import and export templates for each carrier and switch between them with ease.

Auto-Populated Data

Once set up, templates are automatically populated with all relevant customer information previously entered into Sage X3 — so the customer’s order is completed in a fraction of the time, with reduced shipping errors.

Label Generation

Labels are generated upon submission of the order from Sage X3, with the option to include a service code to illustrate to the carrier which type of service is required — for example, next-day delivery.

Tracking Numbers Imported

Tracking numbers are automatically updated in Sage X3 via the import template, enabling a business to track the order all the way to the customer.

Seamless Sales-to-Shipment

Process orders from the sales department, through the warehouse team, and out to an external carrier service with minimal manual input — saving considerable time while improving the accuracy and efficiency of the data received by the carrier.
